Girona: the word on many a cyclists lips these days, famous for attracting professional cyclists since the 90's. But recently, more are coming for the neverending supply of gravel trails. Many a road rider will look down into the valleys and notice tracks that go off to ... where??

With the explosion of gravel riding, it didn't take long for Girona to become a hotspot!

With an array of fabulous off-road trails already being enjoyed by both MTB and Trail Running enthusiasts, they were joined very quickly as this new discipline emerged.

You could never ride every trail in your lifetime, hence more the excuse to maybe just move there !

BRIEF ITINERARY

Day 1: Pick-up Barcelona Airport and transfer to Girona, set-up bikes and take a small spin along the river
Day 2: 45km - Out and back to Lake Banyoles - easy ride with some small punches to wake the body up!
Day 3: 37km - El Torn and Mieres Loop
Day 4: 75km - The Volcano Loop - via the medieval town of Pont de Besalú and Olot
Day 5: 120km - L’Escala and Parc Natural del Montgr
Day 6: Rest Day! Well deserved!
Day 7: 65km - Rocacorba
Day 8: 40km - East Banyoles
Day 9: 60km - Esponella and Cabanelles
Day 10: Tour Ends, transfer to Barcelona Airport

Accommodation: Single or Double/Twin Room Accommodation in 3/4 Star hotels.
Total Nights in Hotel: 9
Meals: all meals included
Dinner: all meals are a-la-carte in fine restaurants
Drinks at Dinner: water, soft drinks and 1/2 bottle of wine per person
Tour Guide/s: for every 6-7 riding guests
Support Van/s & Driver/s: for every 6-7 riding guests, carrying sprare tubes, tools, pump etc.
Snacks & Drinks: the van will be equipped with water, soft drinks, electrolytes, fruit, muesli bars, fresh bread, cold meats, vegetables etc.
